Try readjusting your baby's position to make sure it is lying with its weight evenly distributed. If your cradle seems lopsided when your baby is not lying inside it, then make sure all cradle straps are fasted at the same length and that the U strap is placed at the center of the cradle below the wooden board. Yes, the cradle can act as a replacement for a traditional floor-based crib and with its flat base allows your baby to sleep in it all night.

Babies are used to being held and rocked throughout the time they spent in their mother's womb, and therefore this is a feeling they connect to being safe and relaxed - a prerequite for good sleep. The gentle swaying movements of the cradle with the spring and a cradle bouncer simulate this same feeling, making the little ones feel cradled and held, whilst gently rocking them to sleep in smooth movements. This in many cases meamns that babies have an easier time falling asleep, sleeping with fewer to no interruptions and only waking up when they are well rested. In addition to making your baby sleep more and better, a cradle also gives you as the parent to opportunity to have your hands free for other activities, such as playing with the older kids, enjoying some time by yourself or simply taking a nap.

Yes the cradle can be used outdoors. We recommend making sure that it is hanging/standing sturdily on a stable surface so it cannot fall over. Additionally, we recommend using a mosquito net in the warmer months to prevent you baby from being pestered by insects. In summer it is also recommended to place the cradle in the shade when using it outside and checking on your baby regularly to make sure it does not get to warm.

To use the cradle at home we recommend using the tripod stand or the ceiling mounting kit. If you wish to use your cradle on the road or when travelling, we recommend the doorframe clamp.

A waterproof mattress protector to protect your cradle, as little accidents can always happen and it is nice to know that your cradle's mattress will not be ruined.

No. The weighted products are not designed to be used with the cradle. However, they are developed to help the child find the same sense of calmness as with the cradle with motor. Therefore, it makes sense to switch to a weighted product when your child is ready to move on from the cradle but still needs a little help to settle down.

Your baby may, in principle, sleep in the cradle for as long as necessary, starting from the day it is born up until it weighs around 12kgs. Should you wish to use the cradle for longer after your baby weighs 12kgs, there are a few things to remember. First off, upgrade the spring of the cradle to the spring+ to use it up until a weight of 20kgs. Secondly, it is important to remember that we do not recommend using the cradle once your child can climb or sit up by itself. Should you wish to continue using it, please supervise your child whilst it is in the cradle.

Your baby can sleep in the cradle as long as it needs. The flat mattress of the cradle allows it to be your baby's primary bed.

Yes you can. However, ceilings differ in terms of the materials they are made of. Concrete, drywall / gypsum, and wood, as examples, have different characteristics. Each type of ceiling will require a specific type of hook.

We recommend that you check with your local building center or home improvement store and ask for guidance in terms of hanging the hammock securely. It is recommended that you hang any weight from a structural beam in the ceiling rather than gypsum as this may not be secure enough.

The cradle is delivered pre-washed so you do not have to do so. However should a little accident happen and you need to wash it, you can wash the fabric parts of the cradle at 40 degrees celcius in the washing machine. Remember to first take out the wooden base, the mattress and take off the cradle straps so that no metal parts will be washed.

The cotton fabric cover of the cradle may shrink slightly during washing. Therefore, make sure to stretch the cover back to its original shape while it is wet to eliminate any wrinkles. Avoid any chemical cleaning. Do not use bleach. Only dry on a rack and not in the tumble dryer. Straps with anchoring straps and the stainless steel ring need to be cleaned by hand as the metal parts cannot handle a wash in the machine.

In theory yes, however we do not recommend this as it may damage the fabric of the cradle, as the Najell carrier has different dimensions as the cradle.

If your baby is struggling to lie in the middle of the mattress without rolling to the side, we recommend using a mattress fixi to secure it in place and make sure it cannot roll around.

It is best to place the baby in the middle of the mattress so there are equal amounts of space on each side and place it in a way that its head does not lie lower than its legs.

The U-strap is to be placed in the bottom of the fabric part and the middle on the sides of the metal frame. The wooden board will then be placed on top, so the U strap supports the wooden board from below. Yes, you can take the cradle apart into its individual pieces - wooden board, cradle straps, U-strap, metal frame, mattress and the fabric part. Only the fabric part is washable in the washing machine, and the other parts can be cleaned with a wet cloth.

The cradle can be used from day one onwards, and up until your baby weighs 12kgs. If you wish to use it longer, please upgrade to the spring+, then you can use it up to a weight of 20kgs. Once your baby can climb and sit up by itself, we advise constant supervision.

No, our tripod stand cannot be used for the cradle without a cradle bouncer. This is because the cradle does not have enough space between the legs of the stand when it hangs so high up, as it hangs approx. 25 cm higher without the motor and is therefore likely to bump against the legs of the tripod. Therefore we recommend always using a cradle bouncer or using a doorframe clamp or mounting kit to suspend your cradle.
