Designed by sleep experts in Denmark, it features breathable mesh fabric for enhanced airflow and temperature regulation while maintaining safety and support. The gentle rocking motion creates an ideal sleep environment that comforts your little one, while the mesh material allows for maximum ventilation, especially perfect for naps on hot summer days and in warm nights.

Safety and use:
Moonboon’s springs are specially designed for our products and match the child’s weight to achieve the right level of gentle rocking alongside the highest safety. The spring included with the Baby Hammock supports children weighing between 3-12 kg.
The baby hammock is not suitable for children who can sit, kneel, or pull themselves up. Please read and understand the user manual before use. Please also read our FAQs.

Care instructions:
The Baby Hammock is delivered pre-washed, so you can use it straight out of the packaging. If you do need to wash, it should be washed by hand at just over 40C (100F). Remove the kapok mattress and hammock stiffener before washing. Stretch the hammock back to its original shape when wet to avoid shrinking.
Do not machine wash the Baby Hammock, as the metal rings may damage your washing machine. Do not bleach, avoid chemical cleaning, and do not tumble dry.

We recommend that you do not wash your kapok mattress, but rather shake it regularly or hang it outdoors to aerate where possible.

1. Installation:
Ensure you set-up the baby hammock securely and safely in accordance with the user manual.

2. Environment:
Prepare a calm and quiet area of your home for the baby hammock to be used in – this will help deliver a great sleeping environment. Try placing a familiar item such as a muslin cloth or stuffed toy in the baby hammock for a few days before you introduce it to your baby. This familiar smell will help baby adapt to their new sleeping surrounds.

3. Start slow:
Rocking should be introduced gently and slowly – either manually or with our Moonboon Motor. You can gradually increase the tempo and duration of rocking as your baby gets used to it. You’ll soon learn what works for you.

Every baby is different, and some may take longer than others to adapt to the baby hammock. Be patient, observe their cues, and make adjustments accordingly.

First off, we recommend the hammock stiffener, which will extend and slightly flatten the lying base of the hammock and give your baby more space, extending the time you can use the hammock for. We also always recommend a waterproof mattress protector, because little accidents can always happen and it’s nice to know that no matter what your baby hammock won’t be ruined. Both of these can nicely be paired with a sheet for the baby hammock to round off the look inside your baby’s sleep space. We also love to recommend adding the heaven canopy to your baby hammock to reduce ambient light and minimize sleep disturbances, as well as an added layer of safety with the Mattress Fixi that keeps your little one lying snug and centered on the mattress.

Finally, we advise you to choose your preferred method of mounting, where we recommend our sleek ceiling mounting kit or our portable door frame clamp.
